Moroni Olympic won the Federation Cup final in style with a comprehensive victory over Djabal Basket Iconi. The Moroni team won easily, with an impressive score of 101-25, demonstrating clear superiority throughout the match. The men's competition was more intense, with Djabal Basket Iconi men's team coming out on top against Amis Club de Fomboni. Djabal Basket prevailed 62-60 in a tight match with plenty of twists and turns.
Analamanga teams have added a rare double to their record of achievements. MB2ALL (women) and JCBA (men) beat Phoenix Vakinankaratra and ACMBA in the final of this year's tournament, organized by the Vakinankaratra Regional Basketball League under the aegis of the Malagasy Basketball Federation (FMBB). MB2ALL won 64-29, while JCBA won the men's final 68-45.
In the girls' event, Tahiana Rasata Andriamasy of MB2ALL was named MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the tournament, reflecting her impact and leadership on the court. Meanwhile, Stessla Voahangisoa (NAS) was the top scorer with an impressive 146 points.
On the boys' side, A'Ranty Rasetriarivony (JCBA)completed a double by being voted MVP and finishing top scorer with a remarkable total of 156 points.
The Madagascar U20 championships have crowned JEA Vakinankaratra in the women's category and BCTT Andrefana in the men's category. JEA Vakinankaratra won ahead of EBF Haute Matsiatra and MB2ALL Analamanga. Taratriniaina Ramahatra of JEA Vakinankaratra was voted U20 Women's MVP, while Miantsa Koloina Rakotonirinawas top scorer with 72 points.
The U20 men saw BCTT Atsimo Andrefana finish ahead of DTSC Analamanga and Fandrefiala Analamanga. Yannick Fienena of BCTTAtsimo Andrefana was named U20 Men's MVP. Toky Raobisaona of FandrefialaAnalamanga finished top scorer with 137 points.
Réunion is in the limelight. One of its representatives, Lucas Dubesset, who has been called up to the French 3x3 basketball team, shone with the national selection. He reached the semi-finals of the U18 3x3 World Cup, where the French team was beaten by the USA.
In the group phase, they defeated Slovenia (21-6),Kyrgyzstan (21-11) and Ukraine (21-20). In the quarter-finals, the French beat Croatia 21-15, before being eliminated by the USA 21-17. They finally made up for it in the classification match again against Ukraine (21-12).
